Hello. Hello everyone.  Happy Thanksgiving. Welcome to the last episode of ZimExcellence of the year. So for anyone who is freaking out, ZimExcellence is not ending anytime soon. We will be back in 2022. But for now, we're going into a Christmas holiday hiatus. So this is the finale for 2021. We will be back.

Back with a very long list of guests in 2022, but I cannot wait to take this time to rest, reflect and, you know, figure out ways to just keep making the show, bigger and better. I cannot believe we're here. I started developing in February. I started recording in March. We release the podcast in June and I think it was last month we reached over 1,000 downloads, y'all. I am so happy.

I am so so so grateful to to everyone who's just supported and listened in. I want to say thank you Amai na Baba Vongai (mom and dad) for your help, your support for who you are for the person that you raised me to be. I want to say thank you to my extended family. You all know who you are.

I want to give a quick thank you to Melanie Roth who I should have thanked in the very first episode. So my bad girl. Melanie actually sold me the very microphone that I'm using right now and that I have used to record each and every episode.

I also want to give a shout-out to SquadCast, which is the platform that I use to record remote interviews with guests from all over the world. Yo, this virtual Studio has just been such a godsend and it's just been so useful to connect with people from all. Around the world. So thank you SquadCast.

Speaking of my guests. I want to thank all the guests that said, yes and all the people I've had on the podcast so far. So I want to say thank you. Christine. Yeve, Sibongile, Vivien, Tonderai, Nyasha, Gideon. Munya, Zi, Sharon, Dr. Praise, Esnath, Joe, Ryan, Amanda and Rumbi from It's Layered podcast and Trudy.

And of course, I want to thank you. I want to thank you the listeners for tuning in each week for sharing for reposting. For sending your reviews for buying me coffees. Just  for being who you are. Thank you for showing up because without you, there would be no show without you. I would just be speaking into a microphone to the ether. So thank you to everyone who's subscribed and listened in. And shared and reposted.

It's amazing because of you. This show has not only been downloaded, like I said, over 1,000 times, but it has been listened to and 264 cities in 43 countries on six continents. And, and by continents were talking Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, so I just want to Say thank y'all so much. I see you. So I just want to say shout-out to the United States, to the United Kingdom, to Zimbabwe, South Africa. United Arab Emirates y'all. Germany, Australia Thailand, Czech Republic, Canada, France, Qatar. Yo, I have listeners and Qatar that is so cool. The Netherlands, Spain, Botswana, Indonesia, Poland, Kenya, Finland, Singapore, Ethiopia, Ireland, Cyprus, Jersey, Russia, India. Yes, India, Venezuela. Norway Jordan, weal. The holy lands. We are in the Holy lands. I'm so hype. Mauritius Philippines Brazil, which is one of my dream destination. So that's School Belize Belgium, I think this one's pronounced Guernsey, Malaysia, Sweden, Switzerland, Morocco, Tanzania, New Zealand, Nepal and Bolivia. That is just so cool. And I think it's just so awesome that the top city to listen in to this podcast is my birth city Harare. So shout out to Harare, the real city that does not sleep.

I hope that while I'm away on this winter hiatus that you continue to support the show. Please continue to share it with your friends, your family, your co-workers, spread the word on your social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, all the things. If you want to buy me a coffee, please head to buymeacoffee.com/vongaiofficial. That's a really great way to support the show because this is independently made and I'm currently a one-woman show. I appreciate it. The link is also in the show notes. You can feel free to buy me one coffee, five coffees, 100 coffees. I appreciate it either way, and if any of y'all if you- Actually if you want to email me, email zimexcellencepodcast@gmail.com, you can email any ideas, you have for guests, feedback. Whatever. I am. I welcome it all and if you need any content to hold you over to 2022, to fill the ZimExcellence void. I actually host a Christmas show called Sleigh Whaat?! and it is a show where I watch the best of the best and the worst of the worst in holiday movies. It is over on my Instagram page as well as my YouTube. So you can feel free to follow me on Instagram, which is @vongaiofficial. That is my personal Instagram page. The show page is ZimExcellence podcast. And if you want to check out Sleigh Whaat?! on YouTube because you don't do Instagram, just search for Vongai Shava and you will find it. Last but not least. If you've ever wondered the theme music used is Keep On Moving by Infraction. Courtesy of MelodyLoops. With that said again. Thank you so much for joining me on this beautiful journey to redefine the Zimbabwe narrative. And just to showcase all the amazing changemakers, and trailblazers around the world. I need you all to keep on moving, to keep on fighting, to stay safe and as always, stay ZimExcellent.
